Have you done your Christmas list wish?

How many days to go before Christmas? It seems everybody is counting down especially kids, OH!  I am not a kid anymore, I am on my 50’s. How old are you? Yeah. You?  Why am I asking you, it is because christmas will depend on your age, or should I say will depend upon what is in your heart right now. I will list things that you may want to consider this season and we still have a long days to go to achieve and ponder:

1. A new Style hair (Rebond/Perm)

Yes, sound cool. Goodbye to tangling/dry hair and hello straight and beautiful look.  But how about saying a little prayer for those people who suffer loss of hair because of chemotherapy. I maybe poignant in a sense, I just saw this picture from the internet.

The endless cycle of love, caring for all sick person under therapy is  an all-consuming, emotionally-draining, exhausting, depleting, added to it the need to deal with our emotion dealing with the patients hurt and sufferings. With this, I am begging you my fellow reader to let us unite this Christmas to contribute in anyway we can. First of all is thru prayers, I believe it can move mountains and even very far places, it can be reached thru prayers. You can drop by to any near cancer center clinics and hospital to do donations. Spending time with them is one of my dreams.

2. A new House & Lot

Two-bedroom with garage and a wide surrounding for gardening and planting green leafy organic vegetables is really a dream. In fact that is exactly mine and I am sure you have yours too! but wait, i knew it’s kinda overacting on my part but I pray that we think of those people homeless, no where to go.

3. A new pair of Rubber Shoes

Of course anybody would wish for a new one. A branded one to go on hopping with friends. Certainly your heart will be delighted to its comfortable fitting on your feet as you are walking, running and even strolling around the mall with the family. Again, I lot more gladness on our heart if we think of those people who do not even have a pair of slipper to wear and some of them whew has no pair of limbs to walk, some has an amputated legs.

I am not telling everybody to set aside those wish on your list but…. a bundle of prayers and donations to the nearest orphanage, home for the aged, charitable center and so on. But the most important thing is the change attitude towards our life but be set. Life is short and we must live it fully. Change heart, change perspective, add on a little CHARITY can mean MILESTONE.

We will be all happy to celebrate then this 2017 Christmas and welcoming 2018 with a big blast of new ideas in giving, loving and forgiving.

Advanced Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year ahead of us cause it is still yet month of November, (smiling with a grateful heart)

An unexpected REUNION is during Wake! Made me sad for a moment!

Thanks to facebook apps that I can message & video call my friends, classmate, former colleagues and relatives. But when sudden death of someone nearest to your heart happened, that what makes personal touches add up to any social media apps,

When I decided to dropped to my uncle’s wake, I was able to see my aunties, uncles, cousins, childhood friends, teenage crushes and some former acquaintances. There, we started talking to some old stories, recents accomplishments and past grudges that we had to some of them. That is the reality, we were able to reminisce because somebody has to lost his life to be able to celebrate “reunion” or “bonding” or whatever you may want to call it.

My uncle died on his 80’s and to think, my mother age and the likes are seems to be next in line to what we call “death”, They are the one walking along the isle wanting to see my uncle lying in his casket in their slow-motion walk because they bone are now weak, weakened heart, slow to speak and hardly hearing the person they are talking with and the depressing part is that they are the clown at the moment because they are the one repeatedly saying “what?” “who are they?” and if they will answer you back, sometimes a far beyond of what the topic is all about, and then thundering laughters after.

Some of us is blooming because they had their second chance in marriage after the hard break up. You can see it in their eyes, and to think that we are on our 50’s. Many stories, laughters and never ending stories of the yesteryears. Well, i had to stop for a moment when I had been to the rest room and sat beside my children, because sooner or later we will be the next in line to that term called “Death”. Some of us still having fun with the “reunion”, taking advantage of the situation to uplift themselves, to tell others how fortunate they are today while others still having almost whispering conversation because they are now suffering from illnesses, debts and broken relationships. The agony of pain for some and the only solution is lying on the same casket.

Can “Death” be really  be thankful for? Can there be victory after “Death”? Let us think together for some bible declaration about death:

Because of Christ’s victory for us, God assures us in His Word that this separation is not permanent for believers in Christ. For one day there will be a reuniting of believing loved ones in heaven, never to be separated again.

Do you see? This, for the Christian, is what death is–it’s setting sail, it’s breaking camp, it’s being freed from this life so we can go home. Have you never been away from home and then boarded a plane or train, and as the time to depart approached, experienced that warm feeling and the thought–I am going home. This explains what death is like for the believer–it’s a going home experience.

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

II Corinthians 5:8 “We are of good courage, I say, and prefer to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.”

Death for the believer is not a venture into the unknown, or a strange or alien atmosphere: it’s like going home. But it is even more wonderful than that because it is a home in God’s presence.

Thank you Lord Jesus for reminding us to live the life you want us to be. that is to reunite to you in heaven later.  Death is not to be sad nor to be cried over but to rejoice as this will only be temporary, our going home to heaven in what we are all waiting for. Thanks be to God. thumbnail (1)Now dropping my single flower down to the casket to welcome him to another phase of life after death.

I admired you Uncle!

I still remember my younger years when my mother told me that she has her favorite brother-in-law, that is My Uncle Ernesto (my auntie Mila’s husband) because he loves my auntie that much even she was always talk of his relatives for being so ???? i guess everybody is entitled to their opinions. He is a typical man of few words, I always see him just smiling and hardly to get angry.1551534_973684112675717_7888303564144728580_n

He welcome visitor being a typical hospitable Filipino but i tell you guys, he barely utter words. He will just smile and go on to what he was doing when you arrived.

A man of few words indeed  is what you are uncle. I am so sad with your sudden death today because i will no longer see you now, but will always be reminded that there’s a man existed in this earth who was so faithful, loyal and truly loved my auntie that much.

I was not able to asked you during the time that i was so down in my marriage. maybe you have plenty of wisdom in your heart that you would want me to listen to.

I was sad, really sad…

But also happy that you will be heading to our almighty God Jesus. YOU maybe sleeping for a while but in due time I know God will raise you up to be with Him in heaven.

Our life in earth is just that short, when we are in our 30’s we tend to built material things, we reached our 40’s we slow down for a while but as what saying goes life start @40. I do not know why did they say that where in fact LIFE must start the time we revived our spiritual being with the Lord Jesus. The time that we were saved by Grace and not by our own works. Life started when we were truly forgiven by God even we are all sinners and fell short of his glory. When we reach our 50’s more gray hairs sprouted and saying goes beginning of wisdom. Then our ending…

Our life in earth must be fully lived while we are still here. I don’t know in what point in your life  you are now. What I am saying that all must end. Everybody faces death, a beginning of new life after death. If you have not yet ask forgiveness from the Lord better do it now. We can never tell if until when we will be living in this earth.

Our sufferings,  if you are in illness right must will soon be ended. Just accept it with love. You can still read my blog, Yes you are! I hope I was able to convey to you the message of God that You are loved. It was just a physical suffering you are into right now. It will be changed into joy, no pain  life in heaven. If you have been struggling wife just like me but I chose to be happy and forgave,  made my life changed. I am still mending and trying to forget but what I am sure now is that I must forgive them so that blessing of love, joy, peace be with me always.

love, mending, purpose of life, worrying

Give all your burdens to God, He can handle it!

Matthew-6.34“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”-Matthew 11:28

Today, I learned to just put my faith to God and give my worry to Him for he cares for me. My worrying will never do me good, it will only lead me to desperations. This is also my prayer to you to put your trust in the Lord. Watch this inspiring video and give your worry to God.

death, evil, faithfulness, happy family, joy, losing, love, mending, mourning, purpose of life

Why am I still unhappy? disappointed? Sad? What is my purpose in life?

“We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, and those whom he has called according to his purpose” – Romans 8:28

When you loved God, and when you think you are doing good everyday, you think none bad things will happen to you? certainly not! well anyway what is that word BAD- of poor quality; inferior or defective; not such as to be hoped for or desired; unpleasant or unwelcome..according to oxford dictionaries. Why on earth this bad things still happening in our life where in fact we are loving God. Well it’s not BAD actually, that is only what you are thinking because it is not what you intend to happen, it was not where you want to be directed, it was not what you are hoping to happen. That is just your insight. Man’s attitudes in life is Goodness=Loving God. When things gets rough, we tend to ask God why things happening to us. We always equate bad things as punishment of our wrong doing. Why is this so? We loved God but I am short of money. Some loved God but still no job, some are still renting a house, some has no car and so on. Some are not that beautiful in appearance. We always want rainbows!

Do you happen to ask yourself what if you have lots of money and hooked on drugs, you have a best job one can dreamed of you have terminal illness, you have a huge house and lot but broken family, you have car but you are not happy. You are beautiful but still you are not contented and you want more plastic surgery. Life is a journey, a cycle, that has a beginning and has it ends. No one in this earth will say that they will live longer and that they will not die. We will all be ended in dust, that is why we must know our purpose in life. We will all brand our life as a continuous blessings,

I have written some bible verses that we can look forward to and to help us understand our purpose in life:

Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”

John 3:16-17- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him”

Proverbs 3:5-“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding

Philippians 1:6-“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ”

James 1:12-“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him”

Our purpose in life as Christians is to know God and bring Him glory. If you will do that with your life, if you will get up every morning and say to yourself, “I want to know God, and I want to bring Him glory,” then you will find the happiness that has eluded you. You will find the satisfaction you have always wanted by having your priorities in order.

Anything short of this ultimately will disappoint, because true and lasting happiness never will be found in the things this world tells us to look for.-Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California and Harvest Orange County in Irvine, California

This is exactly what my point is, When you love God you don’t think that bad will happen to you. God is just putting everything in the right time, right moment and right circumstances. Stop on assuming things according to your plan and if short of it you blame God. Everything is a blessings from God.We must open our eyes to the things God is wanting us to be and to God wants us to do and God wants us to understand. Ask Forgiveness from the Lord right now and seek guidance, wisdom to be able to understand what is our purpose in life. God is dealing with us right now just open your heart to HIM and accept Him as your Savior and Lord, and his Grace be born again. being born again is matter of relation with God. It is not that physical changes, It is the 360 degrees  turn about to God.

I encouraged you to be steadfast in the Lord, allow His  wisdom to be with in our heart and mind always to be able to withstand the test of life.

May God richly bless us all. You may want to continue receiving blogs like this. you can subscribes to us at no extra cost. I am sharing the goodness of the Lord in my Life.

death, hates, healing, joy, losing, love, mending, mourning, saving

A Time for Everything-Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, 12

Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.

He sets the time for birth and the time for death, the time for planting and the time for pulling up, the time for killing and the time for healing, the time for tearing down and the time for building.

He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing, the time for making love and the time for not making love, the time for kissing and the time for not kissing.

He sets the time for finding and the time for losing, the time for saving and the time for throwing away, the time for tearing and the time for mending, the time for silence and the time for talk.

He sets the time for love and the time for hate, the time for war and the time for peace.

So I realized that all we can do do is be happy and do the best that we can while we are still alive.
